The ceremony is the heart and soul of your wedding day. This is your very first act as a married couple and you will want a ceremony that you can remember with love and affection for years to come. My ceremonies are labors of love created from personal meetings, reflection questionnaires, and collaboration with you. The result is a one-of-a kind ceremony that will be in the very best of taste.  So what is the process?

The Process

We’ll begin with an email or phone call which will enable me to get a sense of who you are and what you have in mind for your ceremony. Then we can meet for a complimentary, no obligation interview. The purpose of the meeting is to help us get to know each other, see if we “click”, talk more in detail about your vision, and brainstorm ideas that will help you achieve the ceremony of your dreams. Don’t worry – it will be an informative, relaxing, and enjoyable time. We’ll discuss you, your relationship, and what this ceremony really means to you. If you’re just getting started and have no idea of what you want   – - – - I will ask  questions and, based on your answers, I will make suggestions regarding possible  elements and provide you with a selection of different readings, poetry, rituals, and sample vows. Or if you already have a specific vision for your ceremony, then I will make sure that the wording for the selections allows you to realize your personal vision. Either way, we will discuss your ideas and I will share with you some of my experiences. The elements we use are only limited by our imagination, and the possibilities are endless.

Once you’ve decided to use my services, I’ll ask you to sign an agreement so you will know exactly what to expect. We’ll finalize the key elements that you would like to include in the ceremony and I will email both you and your partner a detailed list of questions to each answer on your own. These questions will assist me in writing your personal love story which is the essence of a Celebrant wedding ceremony. Based on your responses and my notes from our meeting, I’ll write your ceremony. Once drafted, I’ll email it to you for your review, comments and/or changes. I will then incorporate your feedback into a new draft to send you for your approval. This process can be repeated as many times as necessary until you are 100% satisfied. Remember, this is your ceremony and the final decision always rests with you.

I work with couples who want the very best and believe that a beautiful wedding ceremony will stand the test of time and provide cherished memories for years to come.

It’s important to know that the services of wedding officiants vary greatly; each has a uniquely different personality and approach to writing, designing, and performing ceremonies. I take great pride in offering my clients quality service of the highest caliber. I fully dedicate all my resources and time to each ceremony. And because each of my ceremonies is as unique as the couple involved, my fee structure varies and is quoted on an individual basis. I take into consideration such factors as complexity of the ceremony, time involved to write and officiate, location, date, and travel time. After we’ve talked about your specific desires, I’ll be able to give you a more precise quote. So what exactly is included in your ceremony package?
